Our Lifelong Connection to the Library
The Grand Island Public Library is a cornerstone of our community. In 2026 alone, nearly 22,000 neighbors are expected to benefit from the essential programs and services the library provides—all entirely free of charge.
Why We Support the Foundation
Dan and I have been proud financial supporters of the Library Foundation through their annual sponsorship program for years. We do this because we know how vital the library is to every stage of life:
Then: I remember spending hours at the library back in high school, using its resources to learn and grow.
Now: Today, we have the absolute joy of taking our grandkids to programs where they can discover their own love for reading.
Every Dollar Makes a Difference
The Library Foundation funds the library's PROGRAMS, which are not covered by the city budget. We are also incredibly excited to see that the library will be adding a Bookmobile again, bringing books directly to our schools, senior centers and community events!
