Imagination Library Program
About the Organization
The Imagination Library Program helps every enrolled child build a library of their own before they start kindergarten. The Heartland United Way's goal is to help all children be successful in school by ensuring a free age-appropriate book is mailed each month to enrolled children ages 0 to 5 years. The Imagination Library program encourages parents to be their child's best first teacher by also providing reading hints and learning suggestions.
In 2024, The Heartland United Way served 3,449 enrolled children in the Imagination Library Program in Hall, Hamilton, Howard, and Merrick Counties.
