Brett and I are so excited to be singing for this very important cause. The STOP fund was created to support direct services for survivors, prevention/education, and justice efforts. These grants help with transportation costs, and immediate needs like healthcare and counseling prior to moving to a new community. If you know of someone in trouble, please contact GIPD or Lutheran Family Services. I was shocked to know that Grand Island has the most reported cases of human trafficking per capita in Nebraska! Human trafficking is considered modern day slavery where people are sold, treated as property and forced to do the unimaginable. It is not just woman being trafficked, along with teen girls, men, boys, even children are trafficked! Police departments now have special departments just to deal with the growing problem. We can all make a difference by donating to this cause. No amount is too small. We are hoping that because of STOP, victims will become SURVIORS!

The purpose of the STOP Fund is to provide financial resources to Central Nebraska service organizations that address human trafficking through any of these approaches: 1) directly assist survivors of human trafficking, 2) prevention and education 3) provide justice by supporting law enforcement, prosecution, or victims.
