I am passionate about the Library! When my son was little, he got to experience reading activities, performances, educational events, reading challenges and prizes. All of this was free and so helpful for young families. The library is a place for everyone of all ages to gather and learn at no charge. It really is a community hub!

The mission of the Grand Island Public Library Foundation is to enrich the Library's services and to provide enhanced opportunities for Library users to discover and use information for an improved quality of life. The Library provides access to life-long learning for our community. No matter what age, race, gender, religion or socioeconomic status, learning needs can be met at the library.
