The library is a vital part of our community. Programs are offered for all ages from babies to adults. Plants and seeds can be exchanged for all gardeners for free. Whether making crafts at the Bear Fair or meeting new friends at one of the book clubs, the library has something for everyone. It is one of my happiest places.

The mission of the Grand Island Public Library Foundation is to enrich the Library's services and to provide enhanced opportunities for Library users to discover and use information for an improved quality of life. The Library provides access to life-long learning for our community. No matter what age, race, gender, religion or socioeconomic status, learning needs can be met at the library.
