I have never found myself with a lack of words when it comes to sharing my love and passion for CNHS and the work I do there.

This facility has given me purpose, passion, a drive to make a difference, and most importantly gave me my 2 best friends Remmy and Noodle who have quite literally saved my life.

The people behind these doors are nothing short of incredible and pour everything they have into caring for the animals that other people discard every day. We don’t do it for the pay, we don’t do it for the attention/gratitude, or because it’s an easy job. We do it because animal welfare matters to us. Making a difference matters. Changing the way a scared animal views the world matters. Showing an animal what true compassion looks like matters.

I get to have this job as my passion because people are generous in their donations. CNHS runs off of donations and fundraisers to keep its doors open. It doesn’t matter if you give $5 or $50, I promise, it makes a difference.

$25 provides a lifesaving vaccine

$50 neuters a cat

$100 spays a cat

$500 feeds one dog for a year

$1000 provides 6 months of kennel disinfectant crucial for disease control

$2000 covers our utilities for ONE MONTH

There is so much that goes into making our shelter successful and we can’t do it without you.
