Heroes for Hounds

I set the bar high for myself every single day… so my fundraiser is no different.

I’ve set a goal of $2,000. The past few weeks  have been especially hard on us—financially .. and that always takes a toll on us mentally and emotionally. We’ve altered 6 local cats, neutered 3 local dogs, helped an owner let her pet cross peacefully 🌈 and paid for over a month of boarding for 2 local pups whose owner was living in her car. 

While we plan for emergencies as much as we can, outside rescue expenses are something we don’t always take into account - we are working on this and trying to do better at planning ahead for people in our communities needs. The above expenses were ones we didn’t feel we could say no to. These folks needed help and options for help were slim to none without us. I’ve set my goal to help with half of the unexpected expense. Changing the life of a pet has no set price, and sadly, sometimes it’s out of the owners means 💔

Rescue isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it.
