To be eligible to participate in Go Big GIVE organizations must:

Have a current 501(c)(3) public charity status as recognized by the IRS to be a qualified recipient of tax-deductible gifts and submit a copy of your 501(c)(3) at registration.
Meet federal filing requirements for tax-exempt organizations.
Have an organized board & volunteer base with a visible, physical presence that provides services directly impacting Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick Counties. Funds raised during Go Big GIVE will be used for services in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick Counties.
Be governed by a body such as a board of directors, board of trustees, etc.
Be in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations including, but not limited to, the USA Patriot Act and all applicable anti-terrorist financing and asset control laws.
Comply with the Terms of Participation for Go Big GIVE Day as outlined by the Heartland United Way and Greater Grand Island Community Foundation.

The following organizations are NOT eligible to participate:

An organization that exists primarily for religious or political activities.
A church or a place of worship (unless it is running a verified community benefit program that provides a direct service).
Government organization.
School (school foundations may participate).
Private or corporate foundation.
Media Outlet.
Social group that advocates and practices hatred, hostility, or violence towards members of race, ethnicity, nation, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other designated sector of society.
