Royal Family KIDS Camp: Grand Island-York

Royal Family KIDS Camp: Grand Island-York aims to serve children of abuse, neglect, and/or abandonment in our area by giving them the best time of their lives all while experiencing the love of Christ in the cathedral of the great outdoors.

Our camp has been serving the Grand Island area for over two decades. Now in their ninth year at the helm, we have passionate leaders who have come together to ensure that camp is the greatest experience for our campers and staff. Our staff, which consists of 80-85 volunteers, come from all over the state to serve. With the exception of a few junior staff members, all volunteers are 18 and over and have been trained to be a part of the Royal Family experience. We find our campers, most of whom come to us from the foster care system, by working alongside the Department of Health and Human Services. We hope to bring 50-60 campers, ages 6-11, to a campground that we rent for the week for an experience they will never forget.
