Merrick County 4-H Council

To develop competent, caring, contributing citizens of good character...through a series of progressive learning experiences with caring adults.

The Merrick County 4-H Council strives to give every young person ages 5-18 an opportunity to experience 4-H, and the life skills 4-H develops. We oversee the traditional club program members who exhibit at the county fair. We reach out to provide special interest clubs in the after school setting as well as school days off for those who can only commit a short time. We have summer workshops helping young people build hands-on skills as well as critical thinking, problem solving, and communication.
