Hope Harbor, Inc.

"Help and hope for a life of self-sufficiency." Hope Harbor accomplishes this mission by providing services to women and children experiencing homelessness and families experiencing homelessness. We help meet their needs for safe shelter, meals, and supportive case management.

Hope Harbor, Inc. has been serving Grand Island and surrounding communities since being established over 25 years ago. Over the years, Hope Harbor has changed and grown. Our programming has evolved from rented hotel rooms, to a residential home, to our 610 W. Division location with 78 Emergency and Transitional Shelter beds. Currently we are able to provide the Grand Island area's population experiencing homelessness with a transitional shelter, emergency shelter, and our general assistance programs. In September 2016, we opened our Service Center, which allows a central location for people seeking services. Our administrative offices, education room, and expanded donation space is now located in our Service Center.
