Crane Trust

A nonprofit organization

Crane Trust protects Platte River habitat for migrating cranes.

Crane Trust ensures a future for wildlife in Nebraska's Central Platte River Valley.

We share our mission with thousands of visitors every year through outdoor exploration, crane viewing tours, virtual programs, and educational experiences. We host scientists and students from all over the world who study cranes, migratory birds, wetlands, native prairie, and progressive land management practices.

Crane Trust is an independent non-profit organization that depends on your generous support to protect and preserve critical habitats for countless species sharing fragile river and prairie ecosystems. We manage nearly 10,000 acres of land to research, restore, and preserve the complex ecological balance of the Platte River ecosystem.
