Art Walk Aurora will be held in historic downtown Aurora on Sunday, September 14th, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Art Walk Aurora is a one-day art exhibition that promotes the visual arts within Hamilton County and features the community as well as local and regional artists. The mix of artists typically includes about 20 from Hamilton County and another 20 from other parts of Nebraska.

Art Walk Aurora also showcases beautiful downtown Aurora because it is held on the Courthouse lawn in the middle of the downtown square.

The annual juried art show was founded in 2014 by a group of local artists.

Beyond the impact on such artists, themselves, members of the Aurora business community have experienced new and more widespread traffic. From a local coffee shop which normally doesn't have Sunday hours: Having opened specifically to accommodate any new customers during the Art Walk, they saw over 500 people come through their doors. They ran credit cards from 192 different zip codes including Council Bluffs, IA, and Souix Falls, SD and Colorado Springs, Co. And were able to document the widespread draw of the occasion.
