HEAR GRAND ISLAND is turning 10 — and we’re asking you to help make this our biggest year yet. 🎶🎉

Founded in 2016 by Brent Lindner, HEAR GRAND ISLAND started with one simple goal: bring people together through music and the arts. Ten summers later, it has grown into a beloved Grand Island tradition — and this 10th anniversary season is going to be BIG.

Each summer, Railside at the AMUR Plaza comes alive for six Fridays with incredible bands from across the country, great food, a lively beverage garden, and thousands of friends, families, and neighbors enjoying summer nights together. Over the past decade, more than 140,000 people have gathered at HEAR GI to celebrate music, community, and connection.

As we celebrate this milestone year, we’re also focused on the future. Thanks to leadership support from the Grand Island Area Economic Development Corporation and Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation, the Grand Island Creative District, and Grand Island Tourism, HEAR GRAND ISLAND is building a foundation that will help this event thrive for generations to come — not just for Year 10, but for the next 100 years.

While HEAR GRAND ISLAND is free and open to everyone, these concerts are anything but free to produce. Each night costs approximately $10,000–$15,000 to host — covering talent, staging, sound, lighting, security, and logistics. Keeping Hear Grand Island accessible to all relies on community investment.
