The Central Nebraska Council on Alcoholism is a nonprofit organization serving central Nebraska with alcohol and other drug prevention education, information, referral, intervention and recovery services since 1967. The overall goal is to provide education and support services to increase the number of youth and adults making healthy lifestyle choices. CNCAA provides a variety of primary prevention programs for youth including Kids Power, Teen Power, Discovery Kids, and Kids Power2. We collaborate with other organizations to facilitate youth leadership development. CNCAA houses a bookstore/gift shop and a lending library with hundreds of titles available to the community for free loan. We offer adult education programming as well, reaching out to parents, teachers, professionals, businesses and the recovering community. CNCAA offers help and hope for individuals struggling with addiction as well as their family and friends.
