Business Coalition for Veterans

To help veterans from all walks of life.

We are individuals; some veterans, some veteran spouses, and simply some who are forever grateful for the veteran sacrifice. Our major efforts are:
1) Serving the veterans who are at the VA Medical Center in Grand Island, during the Christmas season, providing hundreds of gifts donated by the community, as well as donations to the veteran activities. Throughout the year we: partner with the VA via a 4th of July celebration, classic car event, and the Veterans Botanical Garden, providing donuts weekly for the coffee counter.
2) We have committed ourselves to the veterans of Victory Place, helping with financial needs, clothing, food, household furnishings, etc.
3) With the help of the community, we have established several veterans into a new dwelling, to include all the necessities of starting over.
4) We are also working with faith-based organizations, via an outdoor city-wide tailgate party/ fundraiser called 'Husker Party in the Park for Veterans'.
5) As well as individual assistance as needed.
