Aurora Child Care

Aurora Child Care is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit childcare and preschool in Aurora, Nebraska, serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. Open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, we proudly support families throughout Hamilton and Merrick County by providing reliable, high-quality childcare and early education.

At Aurora Child Care, we believe every child, parent, and teacher is part of a close-knit family. This sense of community is reflected in the vibrant artwork throughout our center, the meaningful relationships our teachers build with each child, and the celebrations of milestones and birthdays that bring our families together. Our goal is to provide a childcare experience filled with the same love, encouragement, and nurturing that families would provide at home.

Our program encourages children to explore their environment and choose materials that spark curiosity, creativity, and growth. Teachers thoughtfully structure classrooms with engaging learning centers that are developmentally appropriate and designed to inspire each child’s interest and desire to learn. Through play-based learning and guided activities, our dedicated staff supports children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development while helping them build friendships and confidence.

Aurora Child Care plays a vital role in strengthening our community by supporting working families and helping children build a strong foundation for future success. After 17 years of serving local families, our facility is ready for important upgrades—especially in our outdoor play areas. Outdoor play is an essential part of childhood, giving children the freedom to explore, stay active, and learn through play in a safe, secure environment.
