The Grand Island Pickleball Club is directing funds raised at this year's event to upgrade the lighting on the west side of the Grand Island Tennis Center. This upgrade will brighten the playing area to better accomodate the fast pace of pickleball. The new lighting system will be more energy efficient, saving 50-80% of the energy costs to light the playing area.
Want to make a big impact? A $1000 donation will fund one light, a $500 donation will fund 1/2 light, etc. Or combine funds with your playing partners to fund a light!
Come on out to the Veterans Courts, May 7th from 5-7 pm for Open Play and help support this cause!
